Teen's grill cleaning service turns into a six figure business.
Jacob Shaidle began cleaning grills in 2021 to fund his college education when he was just 16. He invested all $400 of his savings into equipment and started landing clients by going door to door. He earned enough to purchase a vehicle and was able to start taking jobs further away from his home.
In 2023 he did is first $10,000 month and hired his friend and classmate onto the team.
Business is booming and by end of 2024 they expect to bring in $109,000 in revenue.
They credit leaning on mentors, going digital, automating systems, and having a solid team as the recipe for their success.
Between AI, Investment loopholes and the inflated stock price of tech companies, there may be more going on then what first meets the eye. Most markets are back up or have even surpassed where they were before the fall. Good right? Well it may not be all good. Two of the best days in trading history happened before the crash in 2008. Robinhood halted all trading on Monday to suppress “panic selling”. And they are not the only ones…. So what happens next Black Monday? What if the market doesn’t rebound? Regular people might be stuck holding the bag for billionaire hedge fund managers, with no ability to sell their position. However, its not all doom and gloom. This is merely my speculation. The best thing to do is to stay informed…
The Amtrak railroad has seen a big jump in their popularity. Passenger numbers are up 18% since last year. 24.1 million riders since October 2023. It seems many travelers would rather hop on a train to their desired destination than drive. The Northeast Corridor is responsible for a whopping 9.18 million of those passengers. Perhaps in today's fast-paced, stressful, pressure filled world, we all crave a little old fashioned technology to ground us.
